The final half of Awkwardās fifth season doesnāt return until 2016, but that doesnāt mean we canāt have a little fun speculating how it will end. Thatās why it was so much fun talking to Cole himself ā Monty Geer ā all about saying goodbye to Awkward.
āWe told everyone it was the last season, but I have heard the show runners might want to do another season and if they do I would be very happy to continue with the show,ā Monty told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. āI am working on my own thing right now but I would love to do more āAwkward!'ā Um, yes please!
But wait, it gets even better than that. Monty also said, āImagine a Theo and Cole spinoff? That would be really fun. Iām sure after high school they would be up to some crazy things. I love āAwkwardā and everything that comes with it, so if it were to continue I would be happy.ā

However, as exciting as that idea is, Monty admits that seeing Awkward come to an end hasnāt been very easy. āYou know Iām pretty sad that it us ending because āAwkwardā has been a major blessing,ā Monty told HollywoodLife.com in our EXCLUSIVE interview. āIt has been such an amazing show to work on, and playing Cole has been incredibly fun. Fans out there that have grown up and gone through high school at the same time this show has gone on. āAwkwardā was the best.ā True story, Monty.
