Miley first appeared on stage with her makeup on point, but most of our attention was on the bizarre wig resting upon her head. We’re not sure what it was — it looked like a doll house full of accessories threw up in her hair — but this is why we love Miley. She always does what’s unexpected. And that pertains to her singing as well. Standing with her “dead petz,” Miley performed her super sappy song, “Karen Don’t Be Sad,” but how can Karen not be? Our eyes filled up with tears as Miley belted out the track.
Before her Oct. 3 performance, we already had a feeling Miley’s stint on SNL would be surprising. In her first promo for the season premiere, Miley said there was a strong possibility that she’d appear naked while hosting or performing on the show. Unfortunately, there was no nudity, but there didn’t need to be. Miley’s performance caught our attention just as much as it would have, had she been naked.

Then again, if Miley did strip during the show, we wouldn’t have been surprised. She’s no stranger to posing nude. Miley has gotten naked many, many times before on Instagram. And just before hosting the 2015 VMAs on Aug. 30, she posted a nude selfie. Plus, Miley flashed her boob on live TV while hosting the awards show. Whenever it comes to Miley, anything is game. And that’s one of the many reasons why we love her!
