Danielle Milian’s Newborn Baby Boy Dies After Birth — So Heartbreaking

Just hours after Christina Milian’s younger sister Danielle, gave birth to her son Richie -- he tragically passed away. The precious little boy was born with a life-threatening birth defect called omphalocele. So awful. Danielle Milian, 29, and her husband Richard Dickerson, welcomed their sweet little boy, Richie. Sadly, within hours of arriving, he died. During Danielle's pregnancy, doctors told her that her baby had a 53-percent chance of mortality after being diagnosed with omphalocele.

After welcoming her precious son, she shared a precious picture of his tiny toes. She captioned the snap, “Baby Richie has arrived!#prayersup for my #babyboy.. He is already a fighter!” Then just a few hours later she shared a second photo, revealing that Richie was no longer with us.

In the second post, she shared a pic of his tiny handprint and captioned it: “Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye. I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways.” The reality star and her husband are also parents to a young girl, Naomi, as well as an eight-year-old boy Daniel, from Danielle’s previous relationship.

Danielle & Her Husband Refused To Terminate Pregnancy

Doctors had previously advised Danielle and Richard to terminate the pregnancy, but they both felt very strongly about a decision to give their son a fighting chance. She previously told Us Weekly, “I said to [Richard], ‘Could you live with this?’ Because I know can. I know I could be in a hospital every day. As a mother, I will do whatever it takes for my child…No matter how long he has in this world, I could not imagine taking his chance away.” So heart wrenching.

Our thoughts are with Danielle, Richard, and their family at this difficult time.
