“Blake is adamant that he never cheated on Miranda with Cady, and is telling close friends that he is not the one who ruined the relationship,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He knew stuff like this would be said in the media, but the way he’s acting towards these rumors have made his friends really believe him. He’s the one who filed for divorce, not the other way around.”
Cady and Blake’s close friendship (they met after exchanging tweets in 2011) caused similar rumors in the past, but the allegations resurfaced on July 22, when she went on a Twitter rant about unattainable love, and many assumed she was referring to how she never got a chance for a real relationship with The Voice judge. “Blake is very upset that the tweets are being taken as an admission of cheating,” our source adds. “He finds it ludicrous. It’s really hurtful to him because, as he told people close to him, he didn’t do anything wrong.”
Back in 2013, it was alleged that Blake and Cady had exchanged a number of drunken tweets, according to Us Weekly, which led to rumors that there was trouble in paradise between the country star and his wife. But, at the time, they both denied anything was wrong with their marriage. Well, two years later, something has clearly changed — and we’re still upset about it, you guys!
HollywoodLifers, tell us: Do you believe Blake? Do you think fans are reading far too into Cady’s tweets?
