Could Selena and Justin be gearing up for a totally awkward reunion at the 2015 Met Ball on May 4?! The high-profile event probably isn't the best place for the exes' tumultuous relationship, but all signs point to this: They might both be attending! There's always something new going on in Justin Bieber, 21, and Selena Gomez's, 22, relationship, but for the most part, they've managed to avoid each other in public since their early 2013 split -- until now, perhaps. In fact, there's a good chance that both Selena and the Biebs will be attending the highly-anticipated Met Ball on May 4! Could a HUGE awkward reunion/showdown be in the exes' future?!

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Reunion: Will They Both Be At Met Ball?

Okay, so neither Selena or Justin have been confirmed to attend the event just yet, but there’s certainly some evidence that makes a pretty convincing argument that they’ll both be there.

Let’s look at Justin — he may not be a fashion icon, but don’t forget that he’s the face of a MAJOR fashion campaign for Calvin Klein this year. Pretty high profile if you ask us!

Additionally, it was just announced that the singer will be making an appearance in Zoolander 2, and there’s a good chance the movie could be filming at the buzzed-about event (the movie is about models, remember).

Meanwhile, Selena made a splash at her first Met Ball last year, looking absolutely radiant in a dark purple, Diane Von Furstenberg dress. She also had a big reunion with BFF Taylor Swift, 25, that evening, despite rumors that they had been feuding beforehand.

Perhaps the Met Gala is just where Selena’s meant to reunite with those who mean the most to her!

Poor Selena! But even though Taylor won’t be attending the Met Gala this year (she’ll be in Japan on tour), the “Slow Down” singer is likely to have a ton of other close friends by her side to hopefully take her mind off Justin if there’s a run-in! Phew!
