Our hearts broke when we heard that Big Sean, 27, and Ariana Grande, 21, parted ways, but we were more concerned for Ariana. Thankfully, she has been leaning on her Scream Queens co-stars, especially Lea Michele, following the brutal split.
“Ariana has been getting tons of support from her Scream Queens co-stars, especially Lea. Ariana looks up to her like a big sister and really trusts her input. Ariana has been very professional on the set and hasn’t let the breakup affect her work, but it’s obvious she’s dealing with a heartbreak. She’s more quiet than usual and a little down, but Lea always does her best to help put a smile on Ariana’s face,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
That’s so sweet. It seems like Lea’s a great friend. The former Glee star has even given Ariana some self help books to help ease the pain.
“Lea also has a lot of spiritual and inspirational self help books on the set, like The Law of Attraction by Ester Hicks and The Four Agreements. She’s been sharing her books with Ariana and that’s been really helpful as well,” our source adds.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Ariana and Big Sean announced their split on April 20, after eight months of dating.
“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” the pair’s reps told HollywoodLife.com in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Apparently, busy schedules got in the way of their romance. Breakups are never fun, but we’re just happy to hear that Ariana is surrounding herself with good friends during this difficult time.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? What’s the best way to get over a breakup?
