Calm down, he’s just trying to stay hip! Jaden Smith, 16, stepped out on April 9 wearing “girl clothes,” and the whole world wondered why. Well, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY found out that the Karate Kid actor is crazy for men’s high-end fashion, in particular, dresses that male macho stars such as Kanye West, 37, like to wear. Sister Willow Smith, 14, even borrows clothes sometimes, and their parents, Will, 46, & Jada, 43, totally approve!
“Jaden is a very experimental dresser, he’s always been a fashionista at heart,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He likes wearing men skirts and long, thin T-shirts that look like dresses because that’s a high-end fashion statement at the moment. Kanye West has worn skirts before, as high-end fashion brands like Givenchy are bringing out full ranges for brave guys who think they can rock a skirt.”
Well, Jaden sure can! We think it’s pretty awesome that Jaden is making such a fun, bold fashion statement.
“He’s just a young guy, changing up his look and keeping up with high-end fashion,” our source says.
His sister, Willow, also raids his closet, according to another source. “Jaden has worn so many different clothes geared for girls that Willow borrows stuff from his closet,” the insider revealed. “It is completely a fashion choice and nothing more, and Jaden will continue wearing dresses and girls’ clothing for a very long time if not forever!”
Will and Jada are definitely two of the best, most progressive parents in Hollywood. HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Will and Jada aren’t “bothered” at all by Jaden’s trendy decision to wear dresses.
“Will and Jada have their own arguments about their kids and some of the choices they make, but they are both on board when it comes to Jaden’s fashion choices,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They are so used to it by now that it doesn’t bother them at all. They like his choices and think he looks pretty cool.”
What d’you think, HollywoodLifers? Does Jaden look good in a dress? Let us know!
