‘The Challenge’: Wes Proves He’s Still In Charge On ‘Battle of The Exes 2’

This may be Wes’ 9th MTV ‘Challenge,’ but he’s definitely not out of it. When his team fell behind on tonight’s episode, he knew exactly what to do to get back on top — manipulate.

After last week, tensions ran really high in the house — Nia was out for revenge on Jay and Jenna for throwing them in, and Sarah‘s was still completely hurt over her fight with Jordan. So naturally, the episode started with her writing him a letter apologizing and him accepting, and referring to her as his sister. (So we’re just forgetting their sexual past. Got ya!)

‘The Challenge’: It’s Not Always Jonna’s Fault

It was definitely the most intense challenge we’ve seen yet, and took place on top of 18-wheelers. The teams had to jump back and forth from rig to rig! Jay and Jenna put Nia and Leroy first (since they were already enemies), and they totally killed it getting 10 of 12 balls. However, Wes and Teresa, and Zach and Jonna also got 10 balls. During the challenge, Zach left the wall early causing their last ball to not be counted — which means they would have WON without his mistake. But at the end, Nia and Leroy won first while Sarah and Jordan came in last.

So, then came the deliberations. Jay and Jenna were the target, but after talking to Wes, the mastermind of the entire game, they changed their mind. He explained to them that his biggest ally was with Zach — and if Zach was eliminated, Leroy could be “his number one.” So, basically he did Wes’ dirty work for him, and sent in Zach while Wes couldn’t. That just proves that Wes literally controls everything.

“Leroy pulled the trigger, Leroy loaded the gun. I just showed Leroy how the gun works.” Well put, Wes.

Zach Thor Takes On Jordan

In the final moment, Zach literally becomes Thor as it’s a challenge of who can hammer more and harder. We assumed it would be equal since Zach seems stronger than Jordan but Sarah seems stronger than Jonna.

However, Jordan has the brains, and knew where and how to swing the sledgehammer the right way and actually gets further faster. Sarah actually got a head start on Jonna, but then Jonna picked up his slack. Yes, you’re reading that right.

At the end of the competition though, Sarah and Jordan won! The irony of it all was that the entire challenge consisted of Zach blaming Jonna for always losing — but this one was on him. Luckily, Jonna finally gained the confidence in herself and closure from Zach that she needed.

With four teams left, we know that next week: the dreaded couple left at the exile house will return. And we know who it be. Tune in next week!
