We've learned EXCLUSIVELY from a source close to 'Dancing With The Stars' that the show wants Ross! Here's a fun fact: Ross Lynch is Julianne Hough's cousin. If you're not a big DWTS fan, Julianne, 26, is a former pro-dancer and a current judge on the series! So is she about to judge her cute cuz Ross? Ross Lynch: Disney Star Joining ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

Ross took time out of his busy Austin & Ally schedule on Nov. 17 to sit in the live audience of Dancing With The Stars, and even made an appearance on “DWTS All Access” with his big bro and R5 bandmate Riker, 23. Is this a major hint that Ross — or Riker! — could be joining the competition next season?

We’ve learned EXCLUSIVELY from a source close DWTS that the show has always wanted Ross to compete, and they’re just waiting for him to agree!

“They have asked him and the offer is always on the table,” our insider tells us. “He has said ‘no’ so far but they will keep asking him. It’s all up to him.”

Ross Lynch’s Cousin Julianne Hough Says He’d Be Great On ‘DWTS’

Ross joining the show would totally make sense for multiple reasons: one being that he’s already in the Disney/ABC family, as one of the Disney Channel’s biggest stars on Austin & Ally and the Teen Beach Movie franchise. Remember when Zendaya did DWTS (and killed it, might we add)? It would a winning move for the network, and Ross’s career, if he’s interested in appealing to a wider audience.

Another reason it would make sense? He’s already in the family — literally! Julianne is related to Ross! She’s cousins with all of R5. (Betcha didn’t know that!)

“Ross! He would be amazing. He would do really well,” Julianne told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, when we asked her about the idea. “Any of the Lynch’s would do amazing. All of my cousins!”
