Ariana Grande 99% Positive That An Ex Cheated On Her — Jai Brooks?
Ariana Grande’s sophomore album, ‘My Everything’, drops August 22, and in a new interview she reveals that one of the tracks are about an ex-boyfriend who cheats on their girlfriend with another guy — and she is ‘99.99 percent positive’ that that happened to her! Was it Jai Brooks?
Ariana Grande, 21, has had an absolutely huge few months, ever since “Problem” was released in April and immediately shot to the top of the iTunes charts. With her sophomore album My Everything set to release August 22, she is opening up about some of the more personal songs on the album, including “Break Your Heart Right Back.” The song is about a boyfriend who cheats on their girlfriend with another guy, and Ariana is “99.9 percent positive” that it’s a true story, that one of her exes did the same to her. Was it Jai Brooks, 19?!
Ariana Grande Cheated On By Jai Brooks? She Says Ex Cheated With Another Guy
“Well, originally it was going to be about a boy who cheats with a girl, but then I was like, ‘No, I want it to be about a boy who cheats on a girl with another boy,'” Ariana told Attitude mag.
“It’s one of my favourites on the album,” Ariana further revealed to Metro. “It’s really funny because I believe it has happened to me. I’m not 100 percent positive but I’m 99.9 per cent positive.”
Considering that her relationship with Jai Brooks was her most recent — and most publicized — many speculated that the sexually curious ex-boyfriend was Jai himself.
However, Ariana took to Twitter to clear up the rumors, implying that it wasn’t Jai:

Ariana has also been linked to The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes, and The Good Wife‘s Graham Phillips. However, she could have been talking about someone else entirely.
That said, whoever this mystery ex was, Ariana is not too upset about their possible cheating! “I would rather he cheats on me with a guy than with a girl any day! If I found out my boyfriend was gay, I would be like ‘OK!’ I’d be so relieved,” she told Metro.
We’re so glad that she has such an open attitude, especially given that her brother, Frankie Grande, 31, is openly gay.
