‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ Casts World’s Smallest Woman
Jyoti Amge has been cast in American Horror Story: Freak Show, E! News confirms. Executive producer Ryan Murphy, 48, took to Twitter to break the big news on Aug. 13.
“Jessica and our newest cast member Jyoti Amge…the world’s smallest woman,” Ryan wrote, along with a precious picture of Jyoti and co-star, Jessica Lange, 65.
Jyoti currently holds the title of world’s smallest woman, standing at 2 ft 0.6 in, according to the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of Records.
Jyoti was born in India and was featured in the 2009 documentary, Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen. She also guest-starred on Bigg Boss 6, an Indian television show.
The 20-year-old joins the cast alongside Jessica, Sarah Paulson, 39, Kathy Bates, 66, Angela Bassett, 55, Michael Chiklis, 50, Gabourey Sidibe, 31, Emma Roberts, 23, and Evan Peters, 27. Grammy-award winner Patti LaBelle, 70, was recently cast as Gabourey’s mother.
American Horror Story: Freak Show is shaping up to be the series’ best yet. We’re practically shaking in anticipation of what terrifying moments Ryan & Co. has planned for us. The fourth season will premiere in October.
