Michael Jordan Twins Born: Ex-Basketball Star & Wife Welcome Twin Daughters
The basketball legend’s wife of 10 months gave birth to the twins on Sunday, Feb. 9 in West Palm Beach, Fla., Michael’s spokeswoman Estee Portnoy told The Associated Press on Feb. 11., according to ESPN.
“Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival,” Estee said.
The twins are the couple’s first children together. Michael, 50, has three children — Jeffrey, 24, Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19 — from his previous 17-year marriage with Juanita Venoy.
Michael Jordan & Yvette Prieto’s Massive Wedding
A rep for Michael confirmed on Nov. 30 that he was preparing to be a dad again, and it was revealed on Dec. 17 that Yvette was expecting twins!
MJ married Yvette, a 34-year-old Cuban-American model, in April in what was one of the most lavish wedding ceremonies of the year.
They said their vows at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea Church and were joined by over 300 guests, including Usher, Tiger Woods, Robin Thicke, Spike Lee, and many more.
Michael “wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted,” a source told People at the time.
Well, now he’s given her twins, too! Congratulations, MJ and Yvette!
