But seriously, can we talk about this picture for a second? There’s a lot happening, so maybe it’ll help if we break it down a bit.
‘Baby Daddy’: Cassie Scerbo Catches Danny & Riley In The Act?
Let’s start with Danny (Derek Theler) and Riley (Chelsea Kane). Why is he shirtless? Why is she straddling him? Not that I’m opposed to either of these things happening, but it seems a little out of character for the duo, considering she’s still not over his brother Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau).
And then there’s Heather. Why does she look so disgusted by this clearly not disgusting sight?
Perhaps the official description of the episode, per ABC Family, has the answers:
In ‘Romancing the Phone,’ Ben finds the cell phone of a cute girl, Sydney (Aimee Carrero), but when he‘s unintentionally late for their first meeting, he convinces Tucker to go in his place and take the blame. But when Sydney takes a liking to the real Tucker and asks him out, Ben is determined to prove she’s interested in the wrong guy. Riley meets up with an old frenemy, Heather (Cassie Scerbo), and enlists Danny in her plan to prove to Heather once and for all that she’s a winner. Meanwhile, Bonnie asks for Tucker’s help in coming up with a catchy new slogan for her realty business but things quickly go awry when she starts getting offers from guys interested in buying more than a home.
OK, so it seems like Riley is just using Danny to make Heather jealous — you can breathe a sigh of relief, Ben/Riley shippers — but I’m sure that with Heather sticking around for several episodes, this is just the first in a long line of ridiculous moments we have to look forward to.
