Ronald Dunlap, co-owner of Cheer Time Revolution, the setting of TLC’s reality TV show, Cheer Perfection, was arrested on charges of drug possession in Sherwood, Arkansas on Jan. 15, along with coach Ryan Dahl, who does not appear on the show, reported TMZ. The pair’s arrest comes just one day after cheerleading mom Andrea Clevenger, of the same show, was arrested for allegedly raping a minor boy.
Ronald and Ryan were arrested around 1 a.m. local time on Jan. 15 when Sherwood police found them in Ryan’s car, which the arresting officer alleged smelled strongly of marijuana, TMZ reported.
Both guys reportedly confessed to smoking pot, and the officer found a glass pipe inside the vehicle. The pair were taken to the police station, where Ronald was released shortly after and Ryan remains in custody.
Alisha Dunlap, Ronald’s wife and the co-owner of the Cheer Time Revolution gym, is livid about the news. She revealed that “Ronald and Ryan are both currently suspended from the gym, which has a zero tolerance drug policy,” reported TMZ.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you shocked that more Cheer Perfection stars were arrested?
