Taylor, 24, was definitely looking better than ever for the big night. Nominated for Best Original Song for “Sweeter Than Fiction” in the biopic One Chance, the singer of course brought her A-game — and looked seriously stunning!

She wore a super sexy black and red Carolina Herrara gown, but what really made her pop was that red lip!

We’ve got a feeling that she was wearing one of her favorites, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Aqua Rouge No. 8 in Iconic Red. The color is perfect, and is a stain — on a night like tonight, she’ll be kissing many cheeks so it’s a good thing it’s a lip stain!

Taylor On Why She Wears A Red Lip

This is the perfect stain because it also has a glossy side, so instead of looking matte, it’s super shiny — not that she needs anything to make her stand out anymore!

“I feel more confident when I have a red lip on,” Taylor told InStyle’s December issue. “Right now I’m using Aqua Rouge No. 8 by Make Up For Ever. It has two sides to it — one is a gloss, and one side is a lip stain.”

It’s great that she feels confident — she definitely should since she’s nominated and looks absolutely amazing!
