The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran Engaged To Nareesha McCaffrey
Wedding bells are in the future for Siva and Nareesha! The sweet couple announced their engagement on Dec. 9 in ‘Hello!’. In the new interview, Nareesha says that she was so overwhelmed by Siva’s romantic proposal that she turned him down at first!
The Wanted‘s Siva Kaneswaran and his shoe designer girlfriend, Nareesha McCaffrey, are getting married after dating for six years — and he proposed to his longtime love during his own surprise birthday party on Nov. 16! What happened?

Siva already had her three-carat diamond solitaire ring for months and didn’t know when to pop the question. However, he was quite the sneaky boyfriend when he found out that Nareesha was planning a surprise birthday party for him where her family would be present — and decided to propose then!
“It was like a military operation to plan the proposal. I couldn’t even tell the other boys in the band in case they blew the surprise. I said to her I wanted a present I would always remember this year by… for you to be my wife,” he told Hello!. “I love her, I love every bit of her.”
Nareesha said no at first because she was so overwhelmed, but thankfully changed her mind!
“I don’t like surprises and he really surprised me, but I was so happy. I can’t wait to start planning the wedding. I’m still in shock,” she said.

The Wanted’s Tom Parker Is ‘Over The Moon’ For Siva Kaneswaran
Even though Siva didn’t tell his bandmates Max George, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Ariana Grande‘s boyfriend, Nathan Sykes, that he was going to propose, there’s no hard feelings!
