The time has almost arrived; only 48 hours remain until Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) master plan is set to go into motion. The Dec. 8 episode of Revenge saw the return of one scorned Lydia (Amber Valletta), Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) romantic woes — and a sweet proposal!
1. Aiden proposes to Emily: Because the past couple of weeks have been all about Emily and Daniel’s wedding, it was easy to put Aiden (Barry Sloane) and Emily’s romance on the back burner. So in honor of Emily’s revenge plan entering its final stages, Aiden proposed! He sweetly declared his undying love for Emily, saying that their love will triumph over darkness. They seem so happy, which only means that their bliss will not last. (I still believe in those two! Team Aiden, always and forever!)
2. Lydia returns: Everyone thought Lydia (Amber Valletta) died on the plane at the end of season one, but Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) secretly spared her as long as she agreed never to come back to the Hamptons. Well, Margaux (Karine Vanasse) needed her as a source for her story, so she made a pit stop. And she’s out for blood — especially Emily’s. She knows her game, and even pushed her down! What a stiff arm Lydia has…
However, Lydia does have one weakness: Conrad (Henry Czerny)! They reunited this week, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn she’s only playing him.
3. Daniel breaks up with Sarah: After a huge blow-up with Victoria, and some deep thoughts about Emily’s recently revealed pregnancy, Daniel proved he’s the better Grayson by breaking things off with Sarah (Annabelle Stephenson).
4. Victoria makes a shocking confession: At the end of the episode, Victoria stopped by Emily’s place to give her one last message: She won’t be attending the wedding! Emily tried to hold back her shock, but as soon as Victoria walked away, you could see her worry.
This could ruin her master plan! It’s essential that Victoria is in attendance, especially since Emily is planning to frame her for her murder. (But have no fear Revengers; by the looks of the promo, Victoria does attend the wedding of the century!)
5. Lydia finds evidence of Emily’s true identity: Remember that photo from the Graysons’ New Year’s Eve party that Emily was caught in? She thought she was safe when Nolan (Gabriel Mann) edited it and made Lydia look like a fool, but Lydia is one crafty girl. While looking at photos in Conrad’s room, she came across a duplicate! Needless to say, she was thrilled. (Looks like Emily’s got another problem on her hands!)
