Paul Walker First Responders Audio Released: He’s ‘DOA’

So terrible. By the time that first responders arrived on the scene of Paul and Roger Rodas’ horrific car crash on Nov. 30, they were immediately pronounced ‘dead on arrival’ on the 911 audio dispatch recording obtained by TMZ.

Paul Walker may have tried to escape the Porsche that he was trapped in after it crashed in Santa Clarita, Calif., but sadly, he died of traumatic and thermal injuries before firefighters arrived three minutes after a 911 call was made, TMZ reports. According to the recording, they reported that there were “two fatalities” at the crash site — Paul and the driver, Roger Rodas, 38, who died of “multiple traumatic injuries.”

One of the first things that firefighters on the scene told 911 dispatchers was that there were “two fatalities” at the scene that were both “dead on arrival.” They arrived three minutes after a call to 911 was made, but security camera footage that captured the crash indicates that Paul may have been trapped in the car for up to one minute before it burst into flames.

The firefighter on the dispatch recording also says that the crash is a “Code N” incident, meaning that it’s going to be newsworthy and should be handled carefully, according to TMZ.
