Lorde, 16, is on top of the world -- and she knows it! The "Royals" singer shared her thoughts on the state of pop music and revealed what makes her so different from other stars. Lorde Disses Miley Cyrus & Selena Gomez? — They’re ‘F**cking Mental’

The opinionated 16-year-old sat down with GQ‘s Q blog and discussed all things music — but it wouldn’t be a Lorde interview without a dig at our favorite stars.

After Selena Gomez, 21, brushed off the Kiwi’s rude remarks about her song “Come and Get It”, Lorde is at it again– and this time she’s dissing the entire Disney crew.

“The difference between those kids and me is that I grew up completely normally and went to parties and had that experience,” Lorde tells the blog. “I am way less inclined to be like, ‘Look! I’m f**king mental!'”

Is Lorde slamming former Disney star Miley Cyrus for her wild partying and on-stage antics? Sure sounds like it!

Lorde On Her Recent Wealth & Success: ‘I’m Not Use To It’

Lorde’s says her level-headedness comes from her “poor” background, telling GQ‘s Q blog, “I am so used to not having money that spending over $200 — I don’t even think I could do it.”

Despite the fact that her hit “Royals” has reached international success, the songstress hasn’t traded in her humble background for a lavish lifestyle. Instead, Lorde spends big bucks on “geeky things” like new books and rare records. Lorde didn’t grow up with money — something she says other stars haven’t experienced — and she credits her penniless past for her current success.

It sounds like money hasn’t changed Lorde — and it certainly hasn’t made her more tight-lipped!
