It looks like there’s going to be a third wheel in Taylor Swift‘s latest romance with Brenton Thwaites: his ex, Jessica Campion. The model apparently has unfinished business with Brenton — this could get complicated!
There’s nothing worse than finding out your ex has moved on (to Taylor Swift, nonetheless), and that appears to be what’s happening to Jessica.
On Sept. 11, Jessica posted “worst. day. ever.,” after fans on Tumblr alerted her to her ex’s new romance with Taylor. Even though they dated in 2012, in August she wrote a blog post that seems to be about him — clearly she hasn’t moved on.
“Look. I know you’re searching for things,” she wrote. “I hope with all my heart that you find the answers to your questions. But the answers that you’re looking for are closer to you think … right here. At home. In your life you’re going to go to some great places, and you’re going to do some wonderful things. But no matter where you go, or who you become, this place will always be with you.”
And in June 2012 she called out Brenton directly.
“You and I will always have unfinished business. Until we meet again Thwaites,” she wrote.
Oh boy — it looks like Taylor might be getting herself into a sticky situation!
After attending the premiere of One Chance at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 9, Taylor reportedly went to a private party at Soho House where she met Brenton, according to Us Weekly. They talked for about an hour.
“[They were] making each other laugh,” a source tells the mag. “She touched his leg a few times. They seemed very into each other.”
Definitely sounds like the beginning of something to us!
Brenton is best known for playing Luke Gallagher in the TV series SLiDE. He also starred in Maleficent with Angelina Jolie.
But if he and Taylor do have a romance in the works, Brenton should probably give Jessica closure before he moves on with Taylor — it will turn out to be a good thing for all three parties involved.
