Even though Selena Gomez shot Justin Bieber down on July 21, telling E! that she was single, he hasn’t stopped putting all of his energy into being there for her. And after flying across the country on July 27 to make it to Selena’s huge birthday blowout, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Justin’s devotion totally paid off.
“She was all over him,” the insider tells us about Selena and Justin’s big party night. “They were definitely touchy-feely and shared some kisses and back rubbing.”
The source says that Selena was in full party mode (although we wouldn’t expect anything less — it was her 21st birthday party!), dancing around with all of her friends and definitely enjoying the fact that she’s legally able to drink now.
The birthday girl actually went so wild that she began to feel a little sick, but guess who was there to comfort her — Justin, of course. “He was being helpful,” says the source. By showing that he truly cared about Selena when she began to feel down, Justin even got into the good graces of her friends, who initially weren’t thrilled that he showed up at the party, the source reveals.
After a little TLC from the Biebs, Selena got a second wind, and that’s when the PDA really heated up. “Once people didn’t really give him any crap and saw that he was being helpful the PDA got more intense,” the insider tells us.
Wow, sounds like a very good birthday night — for Selena and Justin!
After partying until about 2 a.m., Justin and Selena got in a car and actually left together, according to SplashNews.
Selena clearly acknowledged and appreciated Justin’s hard work and devotion for her on July 27. Scheduled to perform in Detroit, Mich. on the 28th, Justin likely had to split from Selena early after the party night, but their relationship is definitely looking up after a great night together.
Guests had their own fun as they drank shots of chilled VeeV and other various VeeV cocktails.
