Lea Michele was left absolutely heartbroken when Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13. However, thanks to Cory’s mom, Ann McGregor, Lea was reportedly given the chance to see Cory one last time before he was cremated.
Thanks to the alleged private viewing, orchestrated by Cory’s mom, Lea could say all the things she never got a chance to tell him and give him one final kiss goodbye.
“Ann didn’t invite anyone but Lea and Cory’s brother, Shaun,” Cory’s first cousin Richard Monteith tells Life & Style.
We’re so happy that Lea, 26, was reportedly given the chance to gently kiss Cory, 31, goodbye. He was an important part of her life and we can’t even begin to fathom what she must be going through right now.
Lea told Marie Claire Mexico’s August 2013 issue that Cory made her life so incredible.
“It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him,” Lea said, when the interview was conducted on June 7.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Our thoughts continue to go out to those affected by Cory’s death, especially Lea.
