Lea Michele: Cory Monteith Was Her ‘Soulmate’ & ‘Prince Charming’
Since Cory’s passing, fans and celebrities have shared their sadness on Twitter. But no one is more distraught than Lea, 26, who dated Cory for at least a year and a half before his death. A source close to the actress tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively:
“Lea is going through hell right now. She had her whole life planned with Cory — he was her prince charming. Even though he hadn’t proposed yet, Lea was positive they were going to get married and have kids together, there was no doubt in her mind that Cory was her soulmate. When he went to rehab, she was under a lot of pressure to end it with him — but that wasn’t even an option for her, she said she would never leave him, she couldn’t imagine her life without him. And since Cory came out of rehab, he seemed to be doing great. She thought everything was okay with him again — everyone did. I really don’t know how she’s going to get over this, it’s just an inconceivable loss.”
We previously told you Lea is so desperate to feel close to Cory that she has been calling his voicemail just to hear his voice.
It’s so heartbreaking to hear how hard this is for Lea. Our thoughts go out to her during this difficult time. Thankfully, “she has been surrounded by family and friends,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She is not being left alone because they want to be by her and make sure she has a good base of people for support.”
