Lil Snupe Killed — Family Friend Speaks Out On Young Rapper’s Death
“His mom is not doing very well. This was her only child. She had [Lil Snupe] when she was only about 14 or 15. They had a very hard life. That’s why so many people were rooting for him. She’s not doing very good. The community is really helping her. The community and the outpour that we’re giving her is really helping a lot. Her major concern is of course her son, and then this person on the loose, who hurt him,” a family friend tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
The 18-year-old rapper was tragically shot and killed on June 20. Police are still searching for Snupe’s alleged killer.
On June 22, the Winnfield Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of Tony Holden, 36, who is believed to have killed Snupe over video games, TMZ reports.
Lil Snupe’s Memory Is Being Kept Alive Through Social Media
Meanwhile, the community is “trying to keep [Snupe’s] story alive through social media. Everybody I know is keeping it alive on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, but I just don’t want it to get lost, as this [person who killed Lil Snupe] continues to be out on the run. Because [this person is] very violent, [and has been] known to hurt other people,” the family friend further tells us.
Our thoughts go out to Snupe’s friends and family. His death is truly a tragedy.
