Michael Jordan, 50, and former model, Yvette Prieto, 35, said “I do” in front of 300 guests during an extravagant ceremony at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea church in Palm Beach, Fla.
Two years after his divorce from his first wife, Michael met Yvette in a nightclub in 2008. In 2011, Michael popped the question and the couple were married two years later. An onlooker said the couple’s wedding had “a feeling of incredible love between them.”
At the reception, Michael danced with his mother Deloris, and “there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, a source tells PEOPLE. But the source adds that the newlyweds were the ones everyone was watching. “They are so very much in love.”
The couple’s 300-person guest list consisted of several celebrities and famous athletes. The star-studded guest list included Tiger Woods, Lindsey Vonn, director Spike Lee, Scottie Pippen, and Patrick Ewing.
The couple threw a huge reception in an enormous tent at the Bears Club, a gulf course community where Michael recently built a 38,000 square foot mansion. The 40,000 square foot tent was decorated with white roses, peonies and tulips, and guests munched on white rum wedding cake that was decorated with crystal brooches.
“They’ve been planning for months and months,” a source told PEOPLE. “He wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted.” Well, it sounds like that mission was accomplished!
HollywoodLifers, join us in congratulating the happy couple on their marriage!
