Jessica Simpson‘s pregnancy with 11-month-old Maxwell was so different emotionally and physically from her current one. The Weight Watchers spokesperson reveals that her diet and attitude has changed for the better, and she has now gained only half of the weight that she gained during her last pregnancy!
Like many women, the Fashion Star judge let herself eat whatever she wanted during her first pregnancy, but said she didn’t give in as much to cravings this time. She tells People magazine:
With my first pregnancy, I really let go. I felt like I deserved to eat whatever I wanted. Now I’m working out three times a week. I’ve only gained half of what I did during my first pregnancy.
Of course, no one is invincible when it comes to cravings. A lot of the food at her baby shower included her favorite southern cuisine. She adds:
I always love some fried chicken! And it was cute to have a grilled-cheese station. Maxwell really loved that.
Another way Jessica has made this second pregnancy better is that she has been less stressed about life and fashion. She tells the magazine:
I’m a lot less anxious this pregnancy. I’m a lot more easygoing. This time around I’ve been less about the fashion and more about the comfort. With Maxwell I tried to wear heels the whole time, but it hurt my knees. Now I’m wearing more flats!
So HollyMoms, do you think Jessica looks better now during her second pregnancy than the first?
