The Georgia police department have issued a warrant for the arrest of Gucci, who has been accused of attacking an Afghanistan veteran at an Atlanta club. So shocking. Gucci Mane is being sought after by the Georgia police department, following his alleged assault of fan who is a recently returned soldier from Afghanistan. Gucci allegedly hit James Leonard Lettley with a bottle when he asked for a picture. Read on for all the details.

Gucci Mane Allegedly Hits Afghanistan Veteran

James, a big fan of Gucci’s, asked a security guard in the VIP section of Harlem Nights in Atlanta if he could get a photo with Gucci, when the alleged assault occurred, reports wsbtv.

“I’m in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?” James, who was celebrating his birthday, asked the security guard. “I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle.”

The solider told wsbtv that he was then struck again by one of Gucci’s friends, before he was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital by ambulance where his injury required 10 stitches.

“That is dangerous because if there was to be any other fan trying to approach him, ain’t no telling what else he might do to them,” James said to wsbtv. “He could have possibly killed me. I just hope and pray that I recover pretty well because I still want to serve my military career.”

“We do have an active warrant for Mr. Davis for aggravated assault,” Lt. Jeff Cantin of the Atlanta Police Department told wsbtv. “So I’m sure after he sees this, I’m sure he’ll want to reach out and contact us.”
