‘Girl Meets World’: Cory & Topanga Show Off Their Wedding Rings
As anticipation over ‘Girl Meets World’ reaches new heights, Danielle Fishel took to her Twitter account on Mar. 22, giving fans a peek at beloved characters Cory and Topanga’s wedding rings! Read on for all the details.
As production on the highly-anticipated Girl Meets World pilot has gotten underway, fans have been inundated with photos of former Boy Meets World cast members visiting the set, none more exciting than the one of William Daniels, aka Mr. Feeny! But on Mar. 22, Danielle Fishel, returning as Topanga, upped the ante by sharing a photo of the Matthews’ wedding rings!
Danielle tweeted a photo from the set of the pilot, showing her hand on co-star Ben Savage‘s, displaying the fictional couple’s wedding rings, with Topanga sporting a serious rock! “Cory and Topanga…together again,” the actress wrote.
‘Girl Meets World’: What To Expect
For a refresher on just what Girl Meets World is all about, it’s a spin-off of the classic TGIF mainstay, that follows Cory and Topanga into adulthood. The couple’s daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) is the new focus of the show, and viewers will watch as she, you know, meets the world.
In the early goings, the show will focus on Riley and her immediate family and friends, but executive producer Michael Jacobs has suggested that he’d love to have classic BMW characters make guest appearances on the Disney Channel spin-off. From the looks of it, they won’t be too difficult to convince.
‘Boy Meets World’ Meets ‘Girl Meets World’
Not only did Mr. Feeny make a visit to the set on the same day as Maitland Ward, who played Jack and Eric’s roommate Rachel in the show’s later seasons, but Rider Strong and Will Friedle, who played Shawn and Eric, respectively, stopped by for a bit on Mar. 20
