Sean Lowe’s Parents Prefer Lindsay Yenter To Catherine Giudici
Sherri and Jay wanted Sean to pick Lindsay because they think she is a better fit, as she has a strong army family background. Meanwhile Catherine’s childhood was troubled, as her father threatened her mother with a kitchen knife before being committed to a psychiatric ward in 2001.
“Sean’s parents are upset, and even his sister wanted him to pick Lindsay,” a source tells Star. Lindsay “has a great family, strong Southern roots like Sean and, being a teacher, a love of children.”
“Sean’s parents are very conservative, devout Christians, and they don’t see Catherine as having a stable upbringing. They also don’t believe Catherine is mature enough to settle down and start a family with Sean. He’s been asking his parents to give her a chance, but they’re crushed he chose her and believe he’ll come to regret his decision.”
Let’s hope that this is not true! Sean and Catherine are so good together, and Lindsay has a new boyfriend so I don’t think she wants to be with Sean anymore anyway! Sean’s parents are hoping his new stint on Dancing with the Stars will help him clear his head.
“They hope his focus on the show will be like a fresh starting point, and that he’ll eventually end his engagement to Catherine, tell Lindsay he made a mistake — and make her the woman with whom he’ll spend the rest of his life.”
