“I’m sorry for all the wrong I have done,” the 17-year-old rapper told a judge as his lawyer patted him on the back. “I just want you to know I can do (better).”
“The rapper pleaded with Judge Carl Anthony Walker not to sentence him to juvenile detention, breaking down into tears several times, but the judge said he could not tolerate the teen’s ‘blatant violations of the court’s order,'” the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
DNA Info details the rapper’s plea: “I beg you please…Give me one more chance to show you…I am a very good hearted person. I have not picked up anymore cases…That’s not my life anymore.”
It appears as though the Judge is not interested in giving the rapper another chance.
Cheif Keef began serving his time immediately after sentencing on Jan. 17.
Idris “Peeda Pan” Abdul Wahid, a member of the rapper’s management team, tells Complex magazine, “I think that overall we would have preferred for him not to have to sit down for a single day. Overall, I think it’s the best decision to satisfy everybody. The City of Chicago got what they want…We done been to hell and back already, so s**t ain’t nothing.”
Do you think Chief Keef deserves his punishment, HollywoodLifers?
