Taylor reportedly broke up with Conor because she wanted to reconnect with her ex Harry as she was tempted to date him again. How scandalous! Taylor Swift broke up with Conor Kennedy in October, blaming their hectic schedules and the difficulties of Conor's boarding school curfew. But now, according to a new report, this is not the reason they really split. Taylor had a brief fling with Harry Styles in March, and she after caught Harry's eye again this September, she broke up with Conor. Did Taylor really dump Conor for Harry?

Taylor, 22, and Harry, 18, first met at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards in March, and she thought “he was so cute”, a source tells Us Weekly. They had a brief fling, which resulted in Taylor’s latest hit “I Knew You Were Trouble.” Then Taylor dated Conor last summer, which ended in October. And according to the source, once Taylor saw Harry at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, that was the end of her relationship with Conor, 18.

“The breakup with Conor was easy because she already had Harry in mind. They have a lot in common. Harry is super close with his mom and grateful for what he has. He’s a good guy.”

Wow. Taylor and Harry really do seem like a great couple, as they have looked so cute on their recent dates at the Central Park Zoo and the after party of One Direction‘s concert at Madison Square Garden Dec. 3. Perhaps Taylor realized that she was more compatible with Harry than with Conor?
