‘Weeds’ Series Finale: Did Nancy & Andy End Up Together?

Let's talk about the final episode of 'Weeds': Do you think the series ended on a high note, or did it all go up in smoke? "It's Time" couldn't have been a more appropriate title for Weeds' series finale, which aired Sept. 16 on Showtime. After eight seasons of selling pot, smuggling weapons, and God knows what else, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) and her merry band of hemp lovers have earned themselves a long retirement. But before the characters peaced out forever, we were given a long glimpse into their distant futures — and it was quite the trip.

Here’s a quick recap of the biggest events that went down — or rather, will go down — in Nancy’s future:

>> A once-again-widowed Nancy receives an offer from Starbucks to buy her chain of weed cafés, and after a nudge from Andy (Justin Kirk), she agrees go ahead and sell — as if she knows how to do anything else.

>> Oh, did I mention Andy has a baby with another woman? If you were hoping he and Nancy would finally hook up on the finale, you were probably pretty bummed.

>> Shane (Alexander Gould) becomes a cop. And an alcoholic. I’m not sure in which order, but he definitely becomes both.

>> Silas (Hunter Parrish) reunites with and marries his deaf ex-girlfriend, Megan, and they have a baby girl.

>> Doug (Kevin Nealon) develops a massive following of disciples, all clad in purple jumpsuits. And just to make sure the finale includes every character ever, he also reaches out to his estranged son Josh.
