Let’s get the big news out of the way first: Garrett Reynolds (Yani Gellman) is a free man. Jason (Drew Van Acker) helped Spencer track down the mysterious “April Rose,” which turned out to be an antique store, where they found one of Alison’s anklets, suspiciously not a for-sale item. Then Spencer’s dad — who may or may not have been off jogging for the past five weeks — told her the court dismissed Garrett’s case after they found someone else‘s blood on the anklet. Any guesses?
As for Emily (Shay Mitchell), she’s slowing piecing together what happened the night Alison’s body went missing. After bumping into Holden (Shane Coffey) at a church party, she remembered seeing him that night, thanks to his tattoo, which he said was for a regular party that Maya (Bianca Lawson) also used to frequent. Could Holden somehow be connected to Maya’s death?
And is Ezra (Ian Harding) keeping a major secret from Aria (Lucy Hale)? She stumbled on a butt-load of money in his sock drawer, which he claimed was from the sale of his grandfather’s old car. And while I’m normally inclined to take Ezra at his word — he’s just so dreamy and trustworthy — he followed that statement up with a super suspicious glance backwards at his drawers. And yes, it was accompanied by dramatic music. What is he hiding?!
Now that Garrett’s off the hook, who do you think killed Alison? Is Holden somehow connected to Maya’s death? And what’s Ezra’s big secret he can’t tell Aria? Drop me a comment with your best theories!
